May 16 - Parish Council Minutes
Roll
Jeanine Kosmicki, Carrie Hairston, Judi Northcott, Mary DiMezza, John diLustro, Terry Hairston, Fr. Bill
Parish Directory
Mitzi has been talking with Life Touch and will arrange dates for the fall. She will find how many families we need to have the parish directory provided at no charge.
Carpenter Bees
The carpenter bees are digging at the wood on the front of the building. Fr. Bill said that he would contact Terminex and that they are typically here once a month.
Liturgical Committee
Judi and Jeanine will coordinate Loretta, Flora, Lynn Frankie, Carrie and Catherine with their respective schedules.
Bulletin – Calendar
Jeanine’s version works but she is looking for one that is more adaptable and can be posted to the blog. Terry will help Jeanine look at the Word version, as a possible solution.
Faith Development
Registration will be in August and classes will start the 1st Sunday after Labor Day.

Pastoral Council Minutes
Roll: Jeanine Kosmicki, Mark Burge, Judi Northcott, Mary DiMezza, John diLustro, Carrie Hairston, Terry Hairston, Fr. Bill
Collected name, phone numbers and e-mail addresses to help with communications.
Reviewed our current members and positions.
Agreed to get everyone a copy of the current Pastoral Council Constitution so that we can discuss at the next meeting, potentially make changes and decide other positions that should be filled. (Terry sent e-mail 1/17/20)
Discussed blogspot for the parish. John asked about diocese policy on blogs and websites. Father said that many of them have them and it should be OK. Terry said that he would send a link to everyone to have a look and we will discuss at the next meeting. (Terry sent e-mail 1/17/20)
Set next meeting for February 14th then the third Sunday of each month going forward. Judi and Mary were going start counting together, so as to free up the third weekend.
Handicap Ramp – During the recent icy/wet weather the ramp was slick. We discussed getting some salt and traction strips for the ramp. Following the meeting, John and Terry looked at the ramp and were concerned about the strips sticking to the wood, due to the weathering. (Terry bought sand placed under ramp, and deicer placed in interior closet) (We may want to discuss replacing the boards and hand rails on the ramp.)
Schedules – Jeanine suggested having a Liturgical Committee that could meet quarterly to form schedules so that people weren’t doubled up in jobs. John questioned the need for this kind of committee.
Widows Support Group – Jeanine proposed meeting the 3rd Saturday of February to see if there was interest. She will put it in the next bulletin. They will decide a name for the group if it gets going. Mark suggested opening it to other churches since we are such a small church.
Stewardship Sunday – Judi asked if we needed this and for now we have decided to post contacts on the bulletin board.
Agreed that it is probably time to update the parish directory
Briefly discussed – giving welcome to new members, mentioning people who are leaving, possibly creating a 1-page info sheet for new families
